Sunday, Norwich lanes held their annual midsummer fair. At St Gregs we already had our stall set up from our regular pitch on Saturday so it was kind of a stress free morning… Tracey turns into ruthless dictator when setting up her stall and we usually manage at least one good argument. So kind of nice to get away without having my ear bent!
We decided on a two prong attack, we had our usual stall inside plus Tracey took a load of stuff we needed to clear outside… The competion was on who would sell most…. Craig with his beautiful presented high quality Vintage and hand-crafted goods or Tracey outside with her any item for £3 Vintage clearance blow-out….GUESS WHO WON!

Tracey had the unfair advantage of live band musical chairs! Which is always a big draw

I had big plans to take loads of photos, but it was busy, very busy, so I had to sneak a photo when I could, sorry my phone over exposes everything..
Early morning Pottergate before the scrum…

Dorothea bought more of her beautiful flowers and plants which she transported by local transport (madness). She also makes the most amazing face creams, Tracey is now totally addicted to the rose & geranium!

The problem with having two pitches in different places, being really busy and not very organized meant we went hungry….well almost

Almost met some really nice, beautiful and interesting people including Rachael Dadd & Ichi who looked mighty fine…Gutted I didn’t get a photo!! (If you read this send us one!) Their band THe Hand had played the Dragon Hall the night before and were on the way back to Bristol after their European tour.. So are now probably viewing Banksys as I write this (jealous). They’re playing the Art Centre in September so definately going to check them out..
Tracey makes the most beautiful fascinators from Vintage velvets most people look at them with bemusement as they just ‘dont quite get it’ . The beautiful Maria had the looks and personality to carry it off. Maria I hope you got loads of compliments, you and your lovely friends really helped to make our day enjoyable..

We packed up and left at six but the party in the garden was just getting going with varous lives bands performing in a perfect setting…shame we were too tired to stay (how rock ‘n’ roll are we?).
Must just must also thank Morley Mouse House aka Will (Powerhouse) & Coral (Big Face) for keeping us entertained throughout the day. NEVER listen to Will!

HAHA! The world would be a much happier place if all the ruthless dictators were like Tracey! Good to see you maintain such a wholesome and well balanced diet at work. That and musical chairs – I would have been in heaven! Next year! t.x
